Last month, the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) announced the winners of its annual NACE One Awards. NACE, the premier organization for event and catering professionals throughout the country, recognizes standout leaders who, through their exceptional events, have established themselves as leaders in the United States event planning industry. This year, Z Event Company proudly accepted one of their most distinguished awards.
The Prestigious Award
Noted by NACE as “among those who received the highest honor,” Z Event Company won the industry award for On-Premise Catered Event of the Year – Budget Greater Than $100,000. The award is shared with Dickie Brennan, a famed New Orleans chef, restauranteur, and owner of Tableau, where the event took place. This honor is extended to events that fall into the highest budget bracket; other On-Premise Catered Event of the Year awards include those with budgets of $50,000 to $100,000 and less than $50,000.
The Awarded Event
This year’s On-Premise Catered Event of the Year – Budget Greater Than $100,000 was a milestone birthday celebration named Studio 54 in the Big Easy. The event featured signature top-shelf cocktails, Dickie Brennan’s upscale New Orleans cuisine, exquisite decor and favors featuring classic 1970s motifs, spirited costumes and props, impeccable club-themed lighting, and talented entertainment crews. Guests enjoyed a lively evening of drinks, dinner, and dancing reminiscent of the legendary New York City nightclub.
